Advanced Negotiating and Influencing explores negotiation and influencing strategies when negotiating in uncertain environments, dealing with difficult people, and managing conflicting interests.

During this three-day course, collaborative negotiation techniques are applied through interactive exercises, case studies and shared experiences. This gives you advanced influencing and communication skills to increase your ability to create satisfying agreements.

Training purpose and goal

The purpose of this course is to give you the mindset, knowledge and strategies to negotiate in various challenging negotiations.

By the end of the three days you will be able to strategically adapt your negotiation style and influence others to develop mutually beneficial agreements.

Who shall participate in Advanced Negotiating and Influencing?

Purchasing, sourcing, sales and other business professionals who negotiate in challenging negotiation environments both inside and outside their organizations.

Pre-requisite for this training: Participation in Silf's Successful Business Negotiation or extensive experience from business negotiations. The course is held in English.

Advanced Negotiating and Influencing is a 3-day stand-alone course that is also included in Silf's Certification Program in Purchasing, CISilf® and in Procurement, CUSilf®, with knowledge tests for those enrolled in the certificate programs. It is also included in Silf's negotiation license.

You will learn to

  • Persuasively communicate your ideas and solutions to gain acceptance from the other party
